The theme for Week 5 was shadows. I was feeling a bit inspired by it at the beginning of the week, but that tapered off quickly. It was a busy week, and I haven't been feeling well the last day or two; I can feel another cold coming on. I haven't been motivated to take many pictures with the yuck, and I'm pretty nervous about my ability to keep up the every day pace next week when I start full time. I'll do my best, but I'm also going to try to give myself some grace. Some pictures will just be iPhone pics and that's that. Oh well. I will worry about that tomorrow.
Day 28: The trees right in front of our apartment. They made great shadows on the building.
Day 29: Walking back to church, I caught shadows of the kids in the street.
Day 30: Oh man. I haven't taken a picture yet today. I guess I'll get one of the ice cream I'm eating right before bed.
Day 31: After finally making it home from school, I took Cade out to get a few pictures of him in the new snow on the night before our first official snow day.
Day 33: Building Lego Towers! The expression on her face cracks me up!
My favorite "shadows" picture is the one of the kids on Day 29. I like the position of Kennedy's feet as she turns around to look at her shadow. I also like how I Cade came and ran into the picture when I was trying to get one of just Kennedy and then he froze. He's a funny kid. My overall favorite of the week is the one of Cade in the snow. I like the lines of the snow on the wall, and I like that I literally could not keep up with him to get a good up close shot of him. He just kept running away from me and telling me to hurry up. Cade, it's hard to get good pictures when I'm running!
Great shots! :)

ReplyDeleteI love the writing on the ice cream container. I spent 15 years in Bangladesh when I was a kid (my parents moved there when I was one) and often wish that my own kids had that experience. Thanks for sharing!
